SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

On the opening of this second edition of Resonances we will have a look at live performance technologies from the point of view of musical analysis. We will reexamine in particular concepts of interpretation, representation and more generally concepts of organology in digital era.

During three days of scientific meetings, starting from a formal context (Set Theory and its influence on contemporary musical creation) and a field of experience favorable to musical analysis (electro-acoustic music) the aim is the convergence of analysis tools as an integral part of creation tools.
This analytic approach will be maintained during two concerts that will illustrate those two methods.
