MUSIC IN CREATION CONCERT

A portrait of two composers who both put their marks on the history of Ircam and who strongly impregnated formalization questions of composition : Magnus Lindberg and Tristan Murail.

-  Date : Monday, October 20th, 8:30pm
-  Venue : Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord
-  Ticket rates

The Finn Magnus Lindberg (born in 1958) was influenced by certain problems coming from Set Theory while in Tristan Murail (one of the fathers of spectral music and who is today professor at the Columbia University of New York), composition is about the relation between analysis and creation. An exceptional recital where one of the composers become the performer of his own writing.
