Virtual Environment and Creation

Abstract

The authors present their last research works in the framework of the "Virtual Environment and Creation" thema in La Maison des Sciences de l'Homme Paris Nord. They have been working on 3D representations used either to represent musical symbolic data (guido or midi files) or sonic physical data (.wav files).

The authors are trying to give synthetic reductions of the musical phenomena that can be handled by users and therefore enable interpretations.
