LUDOVIC GAILLARD, OLIVIER LESCURIEUXThe HyperMedia Studio projects at IrcamThe presence inside Ircam of a large research department developing many analysis and representation tools, the innovative and unusual character of its archives on contemporary music, and the vast potential of hypermedia to enhance the way music is learned, composed, analyzed, discovered and consumed, has led Ircam to start a Hypermedia Studio to proactively explore the potential of innovative hyper music environments. The key challenge of years to come is the fusion of these collections of objects into a structured hypermedia corpus accessible on different supports, and repurposed on the fly for different usages. Music, which is an abstract and structured temporal object, poses particular questions. We will present here some prototypes of analysis, annotation and publication tools for music analysis and teaching. |
