François DelalandeHead of Research in music sciences at Ina-GRM Head of Research in music sciences at the Groupe de Recherches Musicales of the French National Audiovisual Institute (Ina) in Paris, François Delalande trained and started working as an engineer and maths teacher. In parrallel, he followed a music curriculum in flute, organ and composition and entered the GRM in 1970. His work (seminars, publications and research) has a twofold orientation : Main works published by Buchet/Chastel (coedited INA) : La Musique est un jeu d'enfant (1984) - Music is a child game ; Il faut être constamment un immigré" ; entretien avec Xenakis (1997) - "One needs to always be a migrant", - interviews with Xenakis ; Le son des musiques, entre technologie et esthétique (2001) - The sound of music, from technologies to aesthetics. Le Condotte musicali (Bologna, 1993).
