Schoenberg's Opus 19 Number 4 : A Transformational Perspective

Abstract

We will look at the Schoenberg's Opus 19 number 4 from the point of view of approaches called "transformational", i.e. which are interested in the modifications that undergo certain elements of material from one part to another of the work.
Networks of links known as "Klumpenhouwer networks" will be in particular considered, as various characteristics which can be formalized in mathematical terms.
