Jean-Pierre Cholleton

Musicologist

Jean-Pierre Cholleton has a C.A. degree of music culture and teaches analysis, harmony and counterpoint at the National School of Music in Montreuil. In 1993, he works on a monograph about Magnus Lindberg, which was published by Ircam. Together with Gérard Assayag he wrote two articles about the relation between numbers, music and computer, published by the magazines Résonance and La Recherche.

Currently, he continues to work on analysis of instrumental music in São Paulo and on the harmonic language of the Brazilian composer Hermeto Pascoal.
