Julien Ricard

Julien Ricard studied acoustics and signal processing at the Université du Maine (Le Mans, France) and at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research (Southampton, UK).
After a first work experience in computer music tools at the Groupe de Recherche Musicale in Paris (France), he has worked as part of the research team of the CUIDADO EU-IST project at the Music Technology Group in Barcelona (Spain), where he is currently doing a PhD on sound description.
His research interests include audio content processing, auditory scene analysis and music cognition in general.
