Martin SupperDirector of the Studio for Electroacoustic Music & Sonic Art Born in 1947 in Stuttgart. Training as radio and television technician. Theoretical Computer Science, Linguistics and Musicology studies at the Technical University of Berlin. Grant from German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to study Computer and Electroacoustic Music with Gottfried Michael Koenig at the Institute of Sonology (Royal University of Utrecht) from 1980-1982. M.Sc in Computer Science, PhD in Musicology. Director of the Studio for Electroacoustic Music & Sonic Art at The Berlin University of the Arts since 1985, where he teaches courses in studio technology, sonic art, and musicology. Scientific publications, compositions, and sound installations since 1981. Co-Director and music chair for ICMC 2000 (International Computer Music Conference).
