Diemo Schwarz

Engineer in computer science

Diemo Schwarz is an engineer in computer science and studied computer linguistics at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. Since 1997 at Ircam, he was able to combine his studies with his interest for music working as a researcher-developer on sound analysis-synthesis and real-time applications, notably on score following. He's about to finish a PhD thesis developing a new method of concatenative sound synthesis by unit selection from a large database.
