Béatrice Picon-VallinDirector of the CNRS Performing Arts Research Lab Béatrice Picon-Vallin has a PhD in Theatre studies (University of Paris III - Sorbonne nouvelle, 1987) and is now the director of the CNRS' s Performing Arts Research Lab. She conducts the Performing Arts Collection for the CNRS Editions (Paris) as well as the Th XX Collection for the L'Âge d'Homme Editions (Lausanne, Switzerland). Béatrice Picon-Vallin is also a director of research at the CNRS and organises a DEA/DESS seminar on stage direction (Universities of Paris III and Paris X, CNRS) in addition to coordinating a research program on performing arts and new technologies. She also teaches the history of theatre at the Conservatoire supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris, and has published and directed several works dealing with performing arts.
