Perfecto HerreraResearch Assistant, University of Pompeu Fabra Perfecto Herrera has been working during the last years as coordinator of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra's team for the CUIDADO EU-IST project which is leaded by the Ircam. Since 1998, he is a full-time member of the technical staff of the UPF, where he worked as research assistant and main responsible for the Sound Laboratory/Studio. He has also worked as software developer, University assistant professor, sound engineer and next year he will teach in the Sonology department of the Higher Music School of Catalonia (ESMUC). His research interests are audio and music content processing, and more specifically music and musical sound discrimination, classification, and indexing.
