EbomanComposer, artist Eboman (Jeroen Hofs) has a vast experience in the area of interactive audio-visual stage productions. For example with the production of the project called "skrtZz int_R_face" (2000), technology created by Eboman and his crew to be able to manipulate audiovisual samples more flexible live on stage. The "skrtZz int_R_face" was performed amongst others in FCMM (Canada), Onedotzero (London), IFFR (Rotterdam), Museum of Modern Arts (Hasselt), IAE (Athens), MOMA (Barcelona). Other examples are the production of an audio-visual percussion set with audio analysis for the Dutch orchestra "de Volharding" (2002) (performed in the Queen Elisabeth Hall in London and the Haarlem theatre during a recent tour of Louis Andriessen) and by producing and doing more than 300 successful new media performances in the last 8 years nationally and internationally, on a very diverse range of venues. Jeroen Hofs and the Sample madnesS foundation make an effort to get this experience into art education, of which the recent co-operations with the Toneel Academie Maastricht of the past years are witness. In this art school, where Jeroen Hofs has been teaching classes, research is being done into the meaning and possibilities of new media in a theatrical environment for a number of years in the field of "theatrical performance". Eboman also develops and presents "Sample madnesS" : audiovisual interactive digital sample compositions. His energetic and pioneering methods of using digital audiovisual technology on stage have taken him all over the world for numerous performances. Since 2002 Eboman has also developed several interactive audiovisual pieces, including the skrtZz cube, Linkwood, Garbitch interactive RMX and now the "Grand theft Audio" Sample madnesS DVJ 2.0 game.
