Ricardo Dal FarraComposer, professor Ricardo Dal Farra was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is Coordinator of the Multimedia Communication National Program at Argentina's National Ministry of Education, Science and Technology since 1996 ; Director of the Electronic Arts Experimental and Research Center (CEIArtE) since 2002 and the Electroacoustic Music Studio in Buenos Aires since 1978. He is also Consultant for UNESCO's Digi-Arts global project. Dal Farra is Professor of Music Technology at National University of Tres de Febrero and Professor of Composition and Improvisation at National University of San Martin. Former Director of Musical Production and Professor of Multimedia at ORT Technical School. His music has been played in concerts and symposiums all around the world, and has been recorded in 14 different editions. He performs using live interactive systems since the early 80s. Dal Farra has been directing radio series with electroacoustic music for the National Radio of Argentina and the Municipal Radio of Buenos Aires. He is a member of the Board of Advisory Editors of the Journal of New Music Research since 1988, and International Editor for the Leonardo Music Journal since 1995. Ricardo Dal Farra is at present in Montréal, Canada, with a grant for Researchers in Residence from the Daniel Langlois Foundation to develop an archive with electroacoustic music by Latin American composers.
