Célestin DeliègeMusicologist For more than forty years, Célestin Deliège has published articles connecting the musical aspects which have been studied - technical or aesthetic - at the social sciences. A first collection was drawn in 1986 Invention Musicale et Idéologies (Bourgois). In 1975, his radiophonic discussions with Pierre Boulez are published (Seuil) ; in 1984, he introduces the Heinrich Schenker's tonal theory into the French-speaking countries with Fondements la musique tonale (Lattès). Today, with Cinquante ans de modernité musicale (Mardaga, 2003), an history dated between the institutional poles of Darmstadt (Institute of pedagogy founded in 1946) and the Ircam (Institute of research founded in 1974), he hopes to add his contribution to the modernity musical history a strengthening of struggle against this cultural devalorization claimed postmodern.
