Nicolas Misdariis

Acoustician

Born on september 1969, in Paris. Graduate from a college of university level specializing in profesionnal training on mechanics, in 1993, he made a specialization on acoustics within the Acoustical Laboratory of Maine University (LAUM, Le Mans).

Since 1995, he works at Ircam where he took part in several projects concerning different fields of research such as psycho-acoustics, perception, musical acoustics or sound synthesis by physical modeling.
In 1999, he collaborates in the constitution of the Ircam Sound Design team where he has been mainly involved in works related to sound synthesis, room acoustics and diffusion devices.
